November 10, 2024
Call to order
This meeting of the Board of Directors of Las Rosas Condominium Association was called to order at 11:15 am on November 10, 2024 by Paula Steinert (President).
Directors in attendance: Paula Steinert, Randy Wohlford.
Appointment of acting secretary
Because the office of Secretary is vacant, by unanimous vote, the Board appointed Paula Steinert to record minutes during this meeting.
New business
The Board agreed unanimously to charge owners a one-time fee of $80.50 to cover the unexpected increase in cost of the Association’s insurance policy. This is for the quarterly insurance payment due on November 30, 2024. See Attachment for details.
Adjournment
The meeting adjourned at 11:35 am.

Hi friends,
Farmers Insurance just notified me with only 3 weeks notice that they are raising our quarterly payment by $241.50 starting with the fourth quarter on November 30.
New amount: 1279.50 Old amount: 1038.00 -------------------- INCREASE 241.50 Per owner 80.50
We won’t have enough reserves in the checking account to cover this bill on November 30 so we need payments to cover this bill right away. If you haven't paid for the fourth quarter yet, please pay $480.50 for the quarterly fee instead of $400. If you've already paid, please pay an additional $80.50. Thank you.
I’ve attached the email from the insurance company below.
Going forward, I think we’re obviously going to need to raise the quarterly fee.
